It’s National Burger Month, which means you have an excuse to celebrate all month long. That means 31 days of burgers, or just hitting some of these spots when you find yourself visiting the city.

I know it’s a grueling process to find the best burgers in some of these cities, so I did the research for you. Scroll down for droolworthy deliciousness…

Boston, Massachusetts — Rebel’s Guild
Burger Pick:
Revere Burger ($15)

By Chef Dutson, this burger is topped with sweet & spicy bacon, fried egg, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and Cholula mayo and stamped with a Rebel’s Guild branding iron on the bun.

Detroit, Michigan — Mercury Bar
Burger Pick:

Topped with a chorizo slider, jalapeños, münster cheese, tortilla strips, avocado, and zanahorias (pickled spiced carrots). Salsa on the side.

Alexandria, Virginia — Bastille

Toasted olive brioche bun, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions, housemade ketchup and you can top if off with cheese or bacon for $1 extra (each). Don’t forget, it comes with a side of homemade frites.

All of Bastille’s meat comes from a small collection of Shenandoah Valley farms, where they hand mix confit garlic and shallots.

Cleveland, Ohio — Rascal House

A 100% pure beef half pound sirloin burger, served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mayo. A classic for $6.99

Cheshire, Connecticut — Wayback Burgers

Since it’s 1991 launch, Wayback Burgers has grown to 150+ locations in 29 states. Inow can see why. This Double Bacon Burger is topped with four slices of crispy bacon for mouthwatering perfection.

Dallas, Texas— Henry’s Majestic

This Akaushi beef burger is spiked with bone marrow. Yes, you heard me — bone marrow. Served on a brioche bun with caramelized onions and cheddar cheese, this is a burger for the adventurous.

Scottsdale, Arizona — Zinburger

This juicy burger is topped with Fire Roasted Jalapeños, Pepper Jack Cheese, Caramelized Onion, Lettuce, Chipotle Mayo and Certified Angus Beef. You can even upgrade to Wagyu “American Kobe” for just $5.

San Diego, California — Rabbit Hole

Known for their upscale pub food and trendy setting, Rabbit Hole features a rock wall and an open-air game area (burgers AND games? We’re sold).

The ‘Ground Chuck Norris’ features a beef chuck patty, choice of cheese, and is smothered in house Louie dressing — all topped with a bacon wrapped and smoked chicken stuffed jalapeno. Guests have the choice to add bacon, avocado, grilled onion, onion strings, fried egg, mushrooms, and/or seasonal peppers for $1 each.

BONUS: The restaurant has also created a ‘Ground Chuck Norris’ t-shirt so you’ll never forget this tasty experience!

Santa Fe, New Mexico— Hilton Buffalo Thunder

This craft burger features Kobe beef stuffed with smoked brisket, green chile and brie cheese on a green chile bun and topped with red onion marmalade with homemade parmesan/rosemary steak fries.

Tampa, Florida — Datz

In case you wanted dessert while eating dinner, this whopper of a burger places two 6-oz. 100% fresh ground chuck patties, Swiss & American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion between two whole glazed doughnuts. Still hungry? Nosh on some cheesy grits or tricolored potatoes from the “Extras.”

New York, New York — BarBacon

This burger features Angus beef, BarBacon seasoning, honey mustard glazed bacon all on a pretzel bun. Of course, also served with french fries.

Long Island, New York — The Rex Burger & Lobster

Charlie Keller, Executive Chef at The Rex Burger & Lobster, spent two years perfecting the recipes at The Rex Burger & Lobster. The Rex Burger features:

  • 6.4 oz. of all-natural certified Angus beef from Niman Ranch
  • Delicious Lucky’s tomatoes sliced at 3/16 inch with a diameter that matches the width of the burger
  • Two freshly toasted buns
  • Crisp iceberg lettuce (that doesn’t wilt) and gives every bite a refreshing crunch and added texture
  • Two slices of all-natural American cheese that are sliced thin for perfect melting consistency on both patties
  • An onion that will add a tinge of sweetness

Omaha, Nebraska — Blatt Beer &Table

The Root Burger is made with a red quinoa & roasted beet patty, oat-topped wheat bun, veganaise, caramelized onions, pea shoots, and pickled veggie slaw.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — Revolucion

Revolucion is a unique restaurant featuring modern and unique takes on Mexican cuisine. This particular burger combines a chorizo-ground beef patty, cucumber-radish slaw, shredded lettuce, cilantro and mole mayonnaise delicately placed between a toasted Bolilo bun and served with a side of chile-dusted tots.

Kensington, Maryland —The Dish & Dram
Burger Pick: Bacon Pimento Cheese Burger ($16)

This classic burger prepared by Chef Jerry Hollinger is topped with fried green tomatoes and served with fries and a house salad.

Hoboken, New Jersey — Halifax

Created by Chef Seadon Shouse, the Halifax features bacon-onion marmalade, butter lettuce, monterey jack, fresno pepper sauce, all on a brioche bun. You also have the choice of a side of potato wedges or a butter lettuce salad.

This burger debuted in April on both the lunch menu and the Tuesday Burger & Bourbon ($15) special. Chef Seadon opted for the grass-fed beef for both flavor and environmental factors.

Las Vegas, Nevada — Public School 702

A fun take on the classic favorite — PB&J. But have you ever had a PB&J with Applewood bacon and French fries on top? Well, now you can at PS702. The innovative burger comes with crunchy peanut butter, blackberry habanero jam and bacon lardons. Top it with French fries for added texture and to make it even more Instagrammable.

Charleston, South Carolina — Ms. Rose’s Fine Food & Cocktails

Midway, Kentucky — Wallace Station

Kentucky Proud 100% pure ground beef patty griddled on the bun with ham, bacon, tomato and white Cheddar Mornay. Even though Kentucky Derby is behind us, you still now have a reason to visit.

Guy Fieri, host of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, picked Wallace Station’s The Famous Big Brown Burger as one of his top 5 burgers. No better reason to visit than trying out a Guy Fieri favorite, right?

Nashville, Tennessee — Hugh-Baby’s BBQ & Burger Shop

Reminiscent of a time when things were as simple as they could be, Hugh-Baby’s offers fast food that’s made fresh to order. All burgers are ground fresh, the fries start their day as fresh potatoes and the barbecue is smoked overnight. Also, this burger won’t burn your wallet.

The best of both worlds, the BBQ Burger features a custom beef patty ground in-house daily topped with slow smoked pulled pork, American cheese, grilled onions and Hugh-Baby’s house-made BBQ sauce. Woooooeeee!

Denver, Colorado— Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Sushi-Grade Tuna, sunflower sprouts, nori chips, teriyaki, honey wasabi, mayo, pickled ginger, lettuce, tomato and onion. Also the perfect spot to stop while on a bachelor or bachelorette! (I did)
